Hizbullah Cell Trial Resumes: Tapes Viewed, Confessions Made about Transfer of Explosives
Egypt”s Supreme State Security Court will resume Wednesday the trial of 26 members of the so-called Hizbullah cell accused of plotting attacks and spying on Egypt.
Those on trial include two Lebanese nationals, five Palestinians, a Sudanese and 18 Egyptians.
The court is expected to complete viewing the remaining video tapes conducted by the Higher State Security Prosecution with the suspects.
Explosives and explosive belts confiscated from the suspects were displayed during a court session on Sunday.
