LFSANA (LF Student Association of North America) will be having a Liturgy for the Lebanese Martyrs who died during the Lebanese war. It will be followed by a talk and a discussion lead by Mr. Henry Estephan and former fighters who fought during that war alongside some of the martyrs whom we are commemorating on that day.
The talk will include:
. The war in Lebanon, How it started and who fought in it.
. Reflection by people who lived in it and were part of it.
. How the Christians got organized.
. The miracle of resistance.
. Our martyrs & our promise.
This will be more like a discussion with them and questions are very welcome. So come inquire about our recent history as Christians in Lebanon during the war (1975-1990) from people who lived it.
Everyone is welcome.
The Liturgy will be at 10:15 am at St. Maron Church and the talk will follow after a small appetizer.
