“صورة وكلمة”: يوم العمل العالمي

1 أيار: العمال في مدينة شيكاغو الأميركية  يتحركون مطالبين بتحسين ظروف العمل، وبسبب هذا التحرك اعتبر هذا اليوم يوماً عالمياً للعمل، عام 1886.

May 1^st: Rallies are held throughout the United States demanding the eight-hour work day, culminating in the Haymarket affair in Chicago, in commemoration of which May 1 is celebrated as International Workers’ Day in many countries, in other words (Labour Day), in 1886.
