10 تشرين الثاني 1947: ولادة الرئيس بشير الجميل، وهو مؤسس “القوات اللبنانية”، وانُتخب رئيساً للجمهورية في 23 آب 1982 بأكثرية 57 صوتاً.
واغتيل في 14 ايلول 1982 قبل تسلُمه مهامه بمقر قيادة الكتائب في الأشرفية.
November 10th, 1947: President Bachir Gemayel was born. He is the founder of the Lebanese Forces. He has been elected President of the Lebanese Republic on August 23rd, 1982 by a majority of 57 voices. He was assassinated on September 14th, 1982 before assuming his duties, in the Kataeb leadership headquarters in Ashrafieh.
