17 – 18 كانون الثاني 1976: تعرضت بلدة دير الاحمر في 17-18 كانون الثاني 1976 لهجوم من قبل “دواعش” الـ76 حيث شن مئات المسلحين الفلسطينيين واليسارين والأحزاب الموالية لهم وبعض العشائر، هجوماً لاجتياح البلدة تمهيداً لتهجير أهلها وكل البلدات المجاورة، لكن اهل الدير كباراً وصغاراً، رجالاً ونساء، صدوا الهجوم، مقدمين الشهداء وكبدوا المهاجمين عدداً كبيراً من القتلى.
January 17h-18th, 1976: Deir Al Ahmar town was targeted by 1976 “Daesh” members, where hundreds of Palestinian militants and radical socialists and supported parties wurh some clans attacked the town as a prelude to displace its citizens and all the neighboring towns. Deir Al Ahmar citizens, old and young, men and women, hold up the agressors, falling in martyrs, and undertaking the attackers .a large number of dead members.
