The propaganda that Hizbollah is going to win the majority of seats in parliament and take control of the political scene is a complete fiction, what’s worse is that a large number of people actually believe that idea, but in fact, this propaganda should drive people to vote against Hizbollah and block them from changing Lebanon’s social and political identity.
What’s even worse is that some so-called “independent” political figures have encouraged and assisted in fabricating this propaganda after finding themselves out of the political equation, this propaganda does not reflect reality, neither in politics nor in numbers, and Hizbollah will not get the majority, not even the third of parliament, and if the 14th of March is facing an organizational problem, the 8th of March is facing a fundamental issue with their structure.
This tactic rings familiar Syrian occupation bells and their approach to Lebanese affairs. A certain newspaper mentioned that the issuance of an arrest warrant for Khazaali is against a man who is standing with Palestine and promising to support Lebanon in case of an Israeli attack.
As far as we are concerned, we totally support our government and our prime minister with the decision to arrest this criminal and the likes of him.
Our problem with this ideology is that it undermines our sovereignty, considers Syrian presence and influence a necessity and views terrorists such as Khazaali as a natural phenomena with no respect to countries as independent entities, which led them to invite terrorists to our border and ask for protection, this action raises the question “who said that our army and government are incapable of defending Lebanese borders?”
