The Lebanese Forces is finalizing nominations and alliances for the elections, which reflects readiness to enter the next stage related to the technicalities of the alliances and the start of the election campaign according to the new givens.
The Lebanese Forces views the campaign in three phases: the first phase is continuous and does not stop over the years, months, weeks, days and hours. The second phase begins about a year before the elections and is related to the formation of the electoral mechanism, deployment of work groups and the selection of candidates. The third phase is the formation of alliances and the beginning of the countdown to elections.
The third phase faces many challenges, especially when alliances require an approach that takes into account the political dimension of the alliance while taking into consideration the time factor which plays a very important role.
The transition phase has ended and the country has finally entered the actual electoral race which will witness heated political discourse. After finalizing coalitions, the Lebanese Forces focus will shift to the event on the 14th of March, that will include the official announcement of the candidates and the national vision on which the campaign will run.
The Lebanese Forces focus on sovereignty and reform does not mean neglecting other issues stipulated in the Constitution, everything will be presented and detailed in the electoral program.
And finally, the coming days will witness surprises by the “Lebanese Forces” in Zahle, Kesrouan and other areas.
