But what Hezbollah did recently in terms of forming their list in Baalbek Hermel and the inclusion of one of the corrupt Syrian symbols, completely contradicts the reputation they built over the years.
Whether this political electoral move is a recommendation from the head of the Syrian regime or for the necessities of the open conflict with the “Lebanese Forces”, it was a valuable favor from Hezbollah to their political rivals, paving the way for them to enter into the essence of this moral breach, which used to be safeguarded due to its high value, and raises legitimate questions about Hezbollah’s credibility and truth.
Did Hezbollah decide to abandon some of their political ethics in Lebanon as a consolation prize to their regional interests in Syria?
