The world has lost a truly remarkable scientist today, more specifically a remarkable theoretical physicist and cosmetologist. Stephen Hawking has passed away peacefully at the age of 76 in his home in Cambridge.
At the very young age of 21, Hawking succumbed to a motor neuron disease called ALS. Doctors gave him a life expectancy of barely a couple of years, but Stephen forged on and lived a long successful life. He did not allow the disease to win but defeated it in his own way through getting married, writing books and even speaking up in his robotic voice. His discoveries revolutionized the general theory of relativity as well as introduced the concept of black holes.
Hawking’s most well-known theory is the big bang theory where the universe came to be following a gigantic explosion. Hawking gone, to rejoin this chemical reaction between the various atoms of different elements we call our world. His life has been an inspirational tale to many who have struggled in their lives and will continue on being so because no one will go through life without facing setbacks. We should keep soldering through all the hardships for change is on way and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
