As the parliamentary elections approach, political tension rises and rumours start to spread, all with the intent to affect the public opinion which acts as the major power in the ballots, able to change the country’s future.
Although utmost readiness is key to winning elections, the last few days always play a crucial role in changing the expected results, because the undecided public usually chooses who to vote for the night before the elections, which explains why statistics companies find it hard to reach accurate numbers.
This undecided mood is not something new nor a trend, just as the massive demonstrations on the 14th of March 2005 happened as a result of years of oppression, the elections this year will act as a means of revolution after 9 years since the last.
And the revolution that will be witnessed on the 6th of May will be the guarantee to break any attempt to isolate the Lebanese Forces from political life, especially after realizing the massive public support the Lebanese Forces is gaining, support resulting from its transparency and honesty in both its governmental as well as parliamentary work.
