President Aoun’s call to separate parliament from Ministry asserts the appropriateness of said separation which the Lebanese Forces already implements within its ranks. this is based on the party’s belief that the two, when joined together, cannot properly function. Moreover, in accordance with the party’s vision, the two should be separated by the constitution in order to better serve the country and the people. therefore, the Lebanese Forces will not rest until this separation becomes a law adhered-to by all political parties because success and proactiveness in politics call for such measures.
In other news, Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea insisted on shedding light on the party’s ministers’ objection against the Ministry of Public Works and Transport’s sub-contracting clause. this asserts that the party’s position is not one-directional as others are trying to convey for known reasons, rather it is an objection against anything that interferes with the plan to build a state that is based on the constitution, laws and transparency.
Furthermore, Member of Parliament Bahia Hariri’s stance is noteworthy in which she states that “Doctor Samir Geagea was the only person to be imprisoned for 11 years, yet did not change his beliefs, and no one can surpass his patriotism”. this notable statement truly mirrors how the Christian and Muslim political parties view Samir Geagea who prioritizes the establishment of a truly independent and reformed state. MP Hariri, to whom much gratitude is offered, intended to correct in her statement what she was wrongfully quoted on earlier because the relationship between the Lebanese Forces and the Future Movement constitutes the strength of Lebanon’s future.
Finally, we will witness this weekend extensive political campaigning where all the candidates will host rallies and festivals seeing as this would be the last weekend before the due date.
