طالب سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي في لبنان رالف طراف “الدولة اللبنانية باحترام التزاماتها الوطنية والدولية في مجال حقوق الإنسان، بما في ذلك الالتزام بحماية وتعزيز حقوق الإنسان الأساسية لجميع الناس بغض النظر عن ميولهم الجنسية”.
وأكد طراف عبر “تويتر” أن “الاتحاد الأوروبي بما لا لبس فيه يقف ضد التمييز الذي يطال مجتمع LGBTI”.
