شارك حزب القوات اللبنانية في منتدى الحرية 2026 التابع للاتحاد الدولي للشباب الديمقراطي، والذي عُقد بين 18 و21 حزيران 2026 في مدينة سالونيك، اليونان، ممثَّلاً بـ رودولف زغيب، مسؤول العلاقات الخارجية في مصلحة الطلاب، ومسؤول القطاع الشبابي في مكتب العلاقات مع الأحزاب الدولية ضمن جهاز العلاقات الخارجية في الحزب.
وجمع المنتدى قادة سياسيين وصنّاع سياسات وشخصيات شبابية من مختلف أنحاء العالم لمناقشة التحديات التي تواجه الديمقراطية والحرية والتعاون الدولي.
وعلى هامش المنتدى، عُقدت لقاءات مع الدكتور تاسوس خاتزيفاسيليو، عضو البرلمان اليوناني ونائب وزير الخارجية في الجمهورية الهيلينية، حيث جرى البحث في التطورات في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط والأوضاع في لبنان، ومع السيد ستافروس كالافاتيس، عضو البرلمان اليوناني ونائب وزير التنمية في الجمهورية الهيلينية، حيث تم تبادل وجهات النظر حول قضايا التنمية والنمو الاقتصادي.
وأكدت هذه المشاركة أهمية تعزيز التعاون بين القوى الديمقراطية وتشجيع الحوار الدولي حول التحديات السياسية والاقتصادية والأمنية التي تواجه المنطقة.
The Lebanese Forces Party participated in the IYDU Freedom Forum 2026, held from 18 to 21 June 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece, represented by Rodolph Zgheib, International Secretary at the Students Association and Head of the Youth Sector within the Office of Relations with International Parties at the Party’s International Bureau.
The forum brought together political leaders, policymakers, and young leaders from around the world to discuss the challenges facing democracy, freedom, and international cooperation.
On the sidelines of the forum, discussions were held with Dr. Tasos Chatzivasileiou, Member of the Hellenic Parliament and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, on developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the situation in Lebanon, and with Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, Member of the Hellenic Parliament and Deputy Minister of Development of the Hellenic Republic, on development and economic growth.
The participation reaffirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation among democratic forces and fostering international dialogue on the political, economic, and security challenges facing the region.
