Sison: US will make all efforts to help Lebanon
US Charge d’Affairs in Lebanon Michele Sison expressed Washington’s content at the election of President Michel Sleiman and “the return of life to the presidential palace at Baabda.”
“The US sees a new chance for Lebanon,” Sison said after meeting with Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.
She also declared that her country supports President Sleiman and will make all efforts to help the Lebanese people and government overcome the obstacles facing the country.
