Army Urges Media to Refrain From Agitation
The army command on Monday reiterated that it would not be lax in preventing aggression on public order and protecting citizens.
The command, in a statement, said protecting civic order cannot be achieved by weapons only.
"All (factions) are urged to take part in shouldering the responsibility and adopting objective and fair stands," the statement said.
The statement said media outlets, especially television networks, hype up reports on security events, which leads to escalating tension and spreading violence to other locations.
