MP Atallah: Government Vote of confidence only if within Doha Agreement spirit
Democratic Left Secretary General MP Elias Atallah said there are no big problems within the March 14 coalition over the establishment of the government.
“Divergences over small details can be solved through bilateral meetings between March 14 forces leaders,” Atallah told the Voice of Lebanon radio station Wednesday morning.
“I wonder why political leaders do not participate in this government, so that it could also be used as a roundtable for dialogue,” Atallah said.
He also noted that he will give a vote of confidence to the government only if its plan of action is in line with the terms of the Doha Agreement over extending the state’s authority across Lebanese soil.
