MP”s propose law to pay pensions to Lebanese released from Syrian jails
Lebanese Forces MPs Antoine Zahra and Elie Keyrouz submitted a draft law today to give compensation or pensions to Lebanese detainees released from Syrian jails.
Zahra and Keyrouz said that since the Lebanese Parliament adopted a decision to give compensation or pensions to the Lebanese detainees released from Israel, the same rights must be given to those released from Syrian jails.
“It is no longer acceptable to have double standards over this humanitarian cause,” Keyrouz said.
