MP Allouch fears clash of state and Hezbollah
Future bloc MP Moustafa Allouch on Friday expressed his concern that Lebanon was heading toward a political catastrophe.
“There is a contradiction between state logic and revolutionary logic. A state and a revolution cannot subsist at the same time. We are heading toward a catastrophe because the state and [Hezbollah’s] state-within-a-state cannot coexist,” Allouch told the Lebanese New TV.
Allouch reiterated the widespread belief that the ministerial statement might appear on Friday as well, despite conflict over security services positions and other matters that the MP said would be postponed until further talks.
Allouch denied rumors of disputes within the March 14 forces. “There are some differences in points of view about tactics. March 14 leaders are meeting to discuss coordination on the tactical and strategic levels,” he explained.
