Mufti Qabbani Praises the Kingdom of Humanity
Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani on Thursday expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia and its monarch for helping Lebanon, the Arabs and Muslims, terming it "the kingdom of humanity."
"We are very pleased with this help … and our Saudi brethren are in our eyes and hearts," Qabbani said.
He made the remarks in an address at a ceremony inaugurating a Saudi-financed educational center under the auspices of the Fatwa department.
Lebanon, Qabbani said, has "always been in the kingdom”s heart."
