The Special Tribunal Will Be Waiting For Assassins
Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri said during the opening of the Mohammad al-Amin Mosque on Saturday that former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri did not aim to build another mosque, but to create the pinnacle of Beirut’s reconstruction.
He added that Rafik Hariri wanted to preserve the Lebanese people’s coexistence, and to reestablish Beirut as the capital of dialogue among all confessions.
Saad Hariri said that what was happening in the Iraqi region of Mosul could not be separated from events in Akka and Jerusalem.
“We should make efforts in order to bring our Christian brothers back to Iraq, and to pave the way for our Christian brothers in Lebanon to carry out their essential role,” he said.
Hariri said that God would punish those behind the assassination of former Prime Minister Hariri, adding that “the Special Tribunal will be waiting for them.”
