‘Change Movement’ calls for UN investigation over the Lebanese detained in Syria

 

‘Change Movement’ leader Elie Mahfoud called for bringing to an end March 8 ‘camp’ and freeing Central Beirut from tents.

 

The Movement called in a statement for the implementation of Lebanese laws, monitoring Syrian-Lebanese borders and restricting the entry of Syrians into Lebanon to legal passages.

 

It also demanded that names of cities and villages abstaining from paying taxes be made public.

 

The movement called for filing a complaint to the UN against Syria for kidnapping hundreds of Lebanese, and establishing a Special Tribunal to look into this matter.
