Baroud’s Damascus Visit Reminds Lebanese of Previous Stage
Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar told the Future News on Friday that the relations between Lebanon and Syria should be based on diplomatic channels through the opening embassies.
He added that no one rejected the Interior Minister’s visit to Damascus on Monday but some objected on its results, which, he said reminded the people of Lebanon of the previous stage, especially with the presence of figures such as the head of the Syrian Lebanese Higher Council Nasri Khoury.
Najjar said that he did not have any information about contracts signed with any company on telecommunication networks and added that this issue will be discussed during the cabinet’s session on Saturday [tomorrow].
He concluded that all Lebanese parties, from Hezbollah to the Lebanese Forces, aim to confront terrorism.
