Aoun Has Contradicted His Own Electoral Program
MP Jawad Boulos said that some parties were destabilizing security and defining red lines for the Lebanese Armed Forces in order to obstruct its work in confronting “terrorists”, which he said some countries had exported to Lebanon.
During a meeting in the Zghorta area in North Lebanon on Sunday, Boulos accused some parties of “invading peaceful streets and conducting military training under the slogan of fighting Israel.”
He criticized Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and said he contradicted his own electoral program.
“Do those who claim that they represent the Christian community participate in making decisions of war or peace?” he asked.
He called for restricting weapons to legitimate military institutions.
