March 14 Wins Secondary Teachers League Councils Election "Bekaa-Beirut"
March 14 coalition won the Secondary Teachers League Council elections in the public schools in Bekaa and Beirut.
Its candidates won 7 out of 9 seats in the council. The winners were Ibrahim Ayoub, Salwa Saadeh, Barakat Taleb, Gerges Awad, Ahmad al-Maarabouni, Mahmoud Khodr and Mohammad Mustafa Khalil. They won between 43 and 47 votes out of 85.
March 8 coalition’s candidates Hassan al-Moussawi won 41 votes and Akram al-Hajj Hassan won 43 votes.
March 14 had left two empty seats on its list.
On Saturday, the Beirut Secondary Teachers League Council elections took place. Future movement won 7 seats, Progressive Socialist Party won 2 seats, and March 8 participated in an incomplete list of 4 candidates only.
