Yakan: March 14 is rejecting Aoun because his support of the resistance and its weaponry

 

Islamic scholar and caller Sheik Fathi Yakan talked about the pro-government party’s continual rejection of early legislative elections.

 

According to Yakan, March 14 insists on rejecting early legislative elections for fear of defeat and breakdown within its ranks.

 

“It also rejects the formation of a nation-unity government in which the opposition has a guaranteeing one-third vote because it fears losing US tutelage,” Yakan said.

 

He added that March 14 is refusing to dialogue with MP Michel Aoun because of his hostile stance against Israel and his support of the resistance and its weaponry.

 

“This is the truth behind its rejection of all initiatives, including the Arab one,” Yakan said.
