Majority will not boycott parliament session, rejects obstruction
Deputy Head of the Lebanese Forces Executive Council MP George Adwan said that the majority would attend the parliament session on Thursday and would discuss all pending issues with the laws and the constitution in mind because the party did not believe things could be resolved by obstruction.
After meeting with Prime Minister Fouad Siniora on Wednesday at the Grand Serail, Adwan said that the 2009 draft budget was on the right track to being approved, especially if the necessary standards were defined.
He called for making the administrative appointments efficiently and not through dividing shares between politicians.
