Kuwaiti daily Alrai: Hezbollah will severely retaliate to gunfire
The Kuwaiti daily Alrair said that Hezbollah has taken the decision of severely retaliating to any gunfire directed at his supporters, even if this will lead to the expansion of the confrontation scene.
“This decision has been taken before any of the investigation’s results into the Dahiyeh incidents is revealed,” the daily noted.
“Hezbollah has been cautious not to use its arms against Lebanese factions, the daily quoted political analysts as saying.
“Yet, this decision reflects a shift in this regard,” the sources added.
The daily also quoted well informed sources as saying that this decision was taken by the party’s commandment after long discussions.
“Hezbollah took this decision after the failure to get answers over three questions,” the sources said.
“Why were the orders of shooting at people given? Why were the confrontations prolonged for eight hours? Who dispatched Army Commando troops at Mar Mikhael-Chiyah?” it added.
