Raad’s accusations confirm electoral battle is political between two projects
Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra slammed on Monday Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader Mohammad Raad for allegedly accusing the majority of treason.
This “proves that the electoral battle in Lebanon is merely a political battle between two projects. One of them supports building a free, independent and sovereign state, and the second calls for establishing a state where illegal arms prevail and where the state’s decision are seized by certain parties,” Zahra said.
Zahra added that “the Doha Agreement is not a replacement for the Taif Accord, and the only clause that we cling to in the former agreement is the one that talks of a refusal to revert to violence and arms to achieve political gains.”
