Administrative appointments outlook gloomy
Future Movement bloc MP Atef Majdalani told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Friday that opposition seeks to block the electoral process through suggesting the full package regarding the appointments. He questioned if there was any intention to hamper the process through opposing urgent appointments needed to hold the elections in conformity with the Constitution and the Law.
Majdalani also confirmed there was a pessimistic atmosphere regarding the appointments, which proves that the “Third Republic” slogan was synonym to “Three-party system Republic” which rejects the Constitution of the Second Republic and that of the Taef Accords, in order to implement another Constitution.
