Hajj Hassan: Wahhab should be expelled from Shia areas; Hezbollah insulted the Husseini forum
The media office of the Free Shia Movement (FSM) issued a press release saying that former Minister Wiam Wahhab should be expelled from Shia areas. The president of the FSM, Sheik Mohammed al-Hajj Hassan, denounced the “filth” of Wahhab’s “poisonous speeches” and said that Hezbollah insulted and polluted the Husseini forum.
The FSM accused Hezbollah of using the forum as a podium for spreading and inciting hatred and targeting people’s dignities. “Everything is permissible to those who lack dignity and nobility and morals, especially when given divine immunity by Hezbollah,” Hajj Hassan said.
He also said that Hezbollah sought to impose civil unrest and was leading the country towards dangerous clashes.
“Shame on those who once reaped the benefits of Saudi Arabia’s support and today attack its King,” Hajj Hassan said. “Saudi Arabia will support Lebanon no matter how much Hezbollah attempted to undermine its sovereign King.”
Sheik Hajj Hassan expressed anger with the Lebanese opposition and its members. “They hide behind Hezbollah, which is supported by Iranian money and promotes armed terrorism, to achieve their personal interests,” he added,
He called upon all free Shia to be aware of this situation, which, he said, has culminated in the loss of traditional ethics.
“Hezbollah distributes arms in all areas and spreads its culture of destruction in the areas of its allies. All these areas have become security zones. Hezbollah has allowed the bloodshed of many Lebanese figures, including Shia.”
Hajj Hassan also articulated the FSM’s fear of being dragged into another July War or a new 1975 and noted that Qatar withdrew its troops from the UNIFIL, as though it harbored similar fears.
He said that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah “has nothing to lose, and all his interests are tied to Iran. We, on the other hand, have our Arab nation, Lebanon, and we will defend its pluralism to our last drop of blood.”
