Shared cabinet would freeze state’s work
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir said on Friday that, “the elections should be held with calm and citizens should elect whoever they want.”
Sfeir added that having a cabinet that includes both the opposition and the majority would “freeze the state’s work.”
Sfeir met with a delegation headed by Press Federation president Melhem Karam and Kataeb party Metn candidate for the Maronite seat Sami Gemayel.
