Lebanon Majority condemns assassination of Hezbollah official

 

The General Secretariat of the March 14 ruling parliament majority denounced the assassination of Hezbollah’s Imad Mughniyah, who was assassinated in Damascus last night in a bomb explosion.

 

” Our condolences of the Hezbollah party” the statement said

 

The statement added:

 

“Lebanon is being subjected to the wave of terrorism aimed at everybody without discrimination, which is why we should speed up the restoration of national unity of the people and institutions.”

 

The statement also issued an appeal for “ broad participation in Thursday’s rally commemorating the third anniversary of the assassination of Lebanon”s former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri to express our anger over all the assassinations against the Lebanese leaders “

 

The statement added ” let tomorrow be the date of loyalty to Lebanon”
