Poll outcome represents people”s choices
National Liberal Party (NLP) leader MP Dory Chamoun said Monday the outcome of the June 7 polls was "representative of the people”s choices."
Speaking during an NLP gathering in Baabda, Chamoun denounced criticism targeting Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir by saying the patriarch talked "out of his love for Lebanon and its people." Chamoun added that the blocking-third vote was unconstitutional, and said he was "ready to sacrifice more to build the state."
