Suleiman Begins Talks Friday to Select a Prime Minister
President Michel Suleiman will begin parliamentary deliberations on Friday to designate a prime minister for the upcoming government, a presidential statement said Thursday.
The talks are expected to end Saturday afternoon with a detailed schedule to be issued at a later time, a presidential source said according to the National News Agency.
Under the Constitution, the president must select as premier the candidate who wins the majority of votes during the deliberations.
