Patriarch Sfeir meets with Geagea, Nadim Gemayel
Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir met with Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea in Diman on Sunday.
The meeting was also attended by MP Nadim Gemayel. The parties discussed recent developments and the issue of the cabinet formation.
Following the meeting Gemayel said “the Maronite Patriarchy is the base of the Lebanese state.” He also called on all parties to “reconsider their rhetoric and embrace Sfeir’s positions which call for unity.”
