Hariri, Raad Reach Common Ground
Prime Minister-designate following the line of consultations with the different blocs reached an optimistic result after meeting with "Loyalty for the Resistance" bloc. "We feel comfortable about consultations and believe there is common ground with Hariri over cabinet formation", assured MP Mohammed Raad.
"We have learned from previous experiences and we confirmed our commitment to a national partnership and to the Cabinet lineup formula 15-10-5", Raad said.
Though Hariri circles confirmed a few hours ago that the PM-designate will refrain from proposing a particular cabinet formula, MP Raad assured they "don”t have exceptional demands regarding the portfolios allocation."
Both Prime Minister-designate and MP Raad agree that the consultations were an important stage to discuss a lot of issues that concern the Lebanese interior and challenges that Lebanon faces.
On this front, the recent visit of Syrian President Bashar Assad to Saudi Arabia was applauded by MP Raad. "Collateral reactions will be positively reflected on the regional and national front", concluded MP Raad.
