Like many people, I have been watching Lebanon from outside for many years.
As for myself, I watched Lebanon very closely in the summer of 2006, during the fight between Israel and Hezbollah.
After years of watching, it was such an honor and a pleasure to finally have an opportunity to come and see with my own eyes what I’d only seen through a camera lens or in my mind after reading articles of what others had seen.
In some cases, I saw what I expected. In others, I was surprised in different ways, in every case.
I gained a deeper understanding of this beautiful country and the challenges ahead.
The most memorable experience was, without any doubt, the opportunity to meet Dr. Geagea.
