Harb Says Sfeir Concerned about Lebanon Future
MP Boutros Harb said Thursday that Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir is concerned about the future of Lebanon in light of the tense atmosphere and the negative spirit prevailing which would not prompt the formation of a government.
Following talks with Sfeir in Bkirki, Harb expressed regret over the "political bazaar," saying remarks by Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun has "turned the atmosphere from optimistic to pessimistic."
Harb ruled out a Cabinet lineup "so long as politicians put their personal interests ahead of public interests."
