Italian president to visit Beirut for talks with Sleiman

Italian President Giorgio Napolitano will visit Lebanon on November 2, state-run National News Agency (NNA) said Thursday.

Napolitano is to hold a closed door meeting with President Michel Sleiman, before expanding discussions to include Lebanese and Italian delegations. Napolitano will visit south Lebanon to view his country’s contingent operating as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and deliver a speech, said the NNA.
