Phalange Party: Al-Sayegh Achievements Will Present New Evidence on Phalange”s Distinction in Any Ministry
Phalange Party expressed support for its new Social Affairs Minister Salim al-Sayegh and added that "the achievements to be accomplished by Minister al-Sayegh will present new evidence on the distinction of the party in any ministerial portfolio it handles."
A statement issued, after Phalange Party politburo”s weekly meeting, said the politburo was informed by Minister Salim al-Sayegh about the discussions of the ministerial committee tasked with writing the cabinet platform and the ideas mentioned in its draft.
"The gathered stressed upon the importance of the statement to tackle all issues that concern the aspirations of the Lebanese eager for the rise of a competent state," added the statement of Phalange Party”s politburo.
The Phalange politburo also invited all the Lebanese to attend the mass held next Saturday in commemoration of the assassinated late industry minister Pierre Gemayel, adding that Phalange Party "will preserve the oath of Pierre, written in his blood, for the building of Lebanon to gather all of its children around the constants that keep it sovereign, free, and independent."
