Washington”s Stance Important in Lebanon”s Battle Against Naturalization of Palestinians
Phalange Party on Monday said that the importance of the U.S. stance in Lebanon”s battle against the naturalization of Palestinians cannot be neglected, and added that Washington is the main route toward facing that danger which cannot faced through slogans "as some have persisted in practicing lately."
After its weekly meeting in Saifi, Phalange”s politburo added that the role of President Michel Suleiman and his powers cannot be also ignored in underlining the foreign policy of Lebanon.
The party reiterated its stance calling for normal relations between Lebanon and Syria in light of the awaited visit for PM Saad Hariri to Damascus. It called for a clear and honest dialogue that tackles all pending issues between the two countries.
Commenting on the issue of Syrian warrants against a number of Lebanese officials, Phalange Party”s politburo said that they hide, in shape and timing, "non-innocent things."
The conferees reiterated their objection on the sixth article of the ministerial Policy Statement and described it as "submission article."
