Jumblat: Hizbullah Distributes Weapons to Gangs and Mini-Militias
Progressive Socialist leader Walid Jumblat pointed an accusing finger at Hizbullah, charging it was targeting state sovereignty while claiming to enforce the strategic security of the resistance.
Jumblat, in an article to be published by the PSP”s weekly magazine al-Anbaa, asked whether the "slogan of safeguarding the strategic security of the resistance permits distributing weapons to mini-militias and gangs … everywhere? And whether it means deploying missiles throughout the most of Lebanon?
"Does it mean non-controlled borders? Is it true that the communications network also aims at achieving financial gains by illegally competing the state?" Jumblat asked.
"We are committed to backing the state of Lebanon and would not back off, irrespective of threats," Jumblat announced.
