2. Rima, I only want to comment on your famous issue i.e. the escape of Ge Aoun in 13th of Oct.
   To the best of my knowledge , if each commander in the history ,losing a battle, has to be killed or put end to his life , the image of the world would be changed. So, enrich your culture and give up the stereotypes , otherwise , your journalist career will be undermined.

   • Bechara with regards to ur comments and knowledge “each commander in history has to be killed” ino at least fight like a man dont go through wars and fights and u are 90% sure that u will not succeed and thats the reason why big commanders and chiefs are still remembered until now 😉

     • the majority of battles in history would not be through if the decisions are to be based on the chances of winning. With respect to your strategic mind , review , Sam, the history beginning from David and Goliath confrontation who set the path for the damned Jewish nation.

   • you are missing the point, either deliberately or innocently. No one said that leaders should be killed when loosing a battle/war, rather take responsibility of their actions/decisions. And no this is not accomplished by running away when the battle was still raging and leaving the soldiers slaughtered. This is called cowardliness.

4. what if we compare it with the CV of 7akim ? if we start it from early 90’s to past ….

   Commander and killer to innocent people (even if you say it was civil war and he had to ) eventually killer is killer , so killer is murderer . killing -citizens,army, even friends ( remember 7be2a ? ,you fought even against each other.. check your history ) different types of people. christians (army,7be2a,president…) Muslims and Druz … i will not add more, but remember if you open archives be sure from your own history and think 10 times before you say something because it will harm you instead of benefiting , so next time choose good base before you attack . and

5. اذا اراد التكلم عن قوانين الجيش واحترامها واحترام التراتبية العسكرية، يجب أن لا ينسى انه أعطي رتبتين (ترقيات في نفس الوقت) لجعله قائد الجيش بينما كان هنالك ظباطا اكثر كفاءت واعلى رتباً. لكن المطلب بتعيينه قائداً للجيش أتى من الرئيس السوري حافظ الاسد والرئيس امين الجميل استجاب كون عون كان محسباً عليه

   Usually the CV marks the past achievements of a person, and not the under achievements.
   A politician does not have a CV as per say. It is the media’s task to expose the positive AND the negative side of the politician so that people can weight his past and act accordingly – during elections for instance.
   I believe this is exactly what RIMA has done on this page. People have the right to weight the cost of the war against the Syrian army general launched in the late 80″s against the outcome of this war….

   • It’s a complete contradiction . Briefly, how you bless a Syrian national appraisal against the regime (till now , only destruction and horror outcomes) and you deny to Ge Aoun his confrontation to the same occupying regime .

8. and to my best of my knowledge, and please Mr. Bechara go back to the archive, once aoun said that he would be the last to abandon the ship right???? so please think before u comment or ur person here will be undermined…n last but not least, all the money in f…g world couldn’t buy me one second of trust in aoun or his dumb followers or one ounce of faith in anything they are…God Damn u all

     • Dear Bechara, i was hoping for a reply to my email and not a sick comment on the name, so please leave the name on its own, it none of ur business, and still i am waiting for a serious reply to the words in my email, did he say that or not?? but guess the answer is obvious, simply there is no reply only facts that the so called aoun is a coward. the last to leave the ship!!!

       • anonymous , seems that you are haunted by ” a problematic concept ” i.e. Aoun is a coward or not? 1st it was Aoun commanding the 8th regiment who stopped the invasion of the Christian region from Souk el Gharb when the L.F. retreated.2nd the assault of the Syrian army(allowed to use the air force) on the day of 13th Oct , backed by the USA , Israel, Arab countries , was so fierce that the modest military means of Aoun cannot resist.Face the international consensus , Aoun ought to save the least he could, humans and structures.He reached a whole package agreement with the big concerned powers and issued a communique at 9 o’clock starting by “حفاظا على ما تبقى” seizing fire & relaying power to Lahoud . Some isolated units , cut from communications, still resists….
         Shortly & finally , the majority of the Lebanese Christians are so brave not to support a coward.
