نبه عضو كتلة القوات اللبنانية النائب انطوان زهرا الى خطورة النفوذ الايراني في المنطقة حيث ربط عمل حزب الله في سوريا بالاجندة الايرانية ووصف حزب لله بالمرتزقة الايرانية التي تسعى الى احلال الفراغ في جميع مؤسسات الدولة و تعطيل كل الاستحقاقات الدستورية.
وأعلن زهرا في لقاء سياسي نظمته منسقية كسروان الفتوح في القوات اللبنانية بالتعاون مع الجامعة الشعبية في “القوات” في بلدة عشقوت انّ القوات اللبنانية لن تعطي شرعية لحزب الله في حكومة جامعة، مؤكدا ان “للانتخابات الرئاسية اهمية كبرى حيث تسعى القوات و14 اذار الى ايصال رئيس قوي سيادي يحصّن الدولة ويطبق الدستور”. واعتبر أنّ الرئيس ميشال سليمان صمام امان المرحلة التي نعيشها بالدفاع عن منطق الدولة و احياء المؤسسات.
وحمّل زهرا الحكومة مسؤولية تفاقم المشاكل الحياتية التي يعيشها النازحون السوريون فالحكومة تقاعست عن اداء دورها في ترتيب وضع اللاجئين منذ البداية لأنها لم تنشئ مخيمات خاصة بهؤلاء اللاجئين وتحصيهم كي لا يتحولوا إلى أزمة داخل المجتمع اللبناني.

I am certain that 90% of the Lebanese people, in Lebanon and abroad, do support strengthening and activating the government institutions and want a nation of 10452 km2, free, independent and co-existence with all, specially a country in which Christians play an effective role and presence.
What is lacking from this aspiration is that you (March 14, LF, Kataeb, Mustaqbal and independents) are demanding the government officials to take action, protect, and defend the country and the people, when the Lebanese officials not only lack capabilities, they too lack the resolve to do anything.The Lebanese officials are either too weak or too influenced by Hizballah, the decision maker and executor in the country.
What is lacking from this aspiration is the element of strength that is a key to be recognized as a power player in the game and be able to challenge Hizballah; very soon, the country is facing a presidential election challenge, Hizballah would allow the elections to take place only if Hassan Nasrallah feels he can force his candidate of choice to be elected. Today, as you know, the country is paralyzed and mostly controlled by Hassan Nasrallah and his armed militias; there is no challenger.
Whether elections occurr or not, I am afraid that soon Hizballah will use government military and security apparatus to turn against March 14 leaders and supporters to either kill or arrest them while Hizballah continues to play behind the scenes. The country is a hostage in the Hizballah and Iran’s hands.
These current times remind us of the collapse of the government institutions in 1975, when the Late Sheikh Pierre Gemayel openly asked the youth to bear arms in order to defend the country. I think Lebanon is now in a similar situation with an advantage over
the situation back in 1975, that the majority of Lebanese Muslims and Christians
have similar views about the Lebanon they want to build; I believe time has
come to organize a Lebanese Front with a more effective political body that exceeds the expectations of the free people along with a military organized unified force to defend Lebanon and its institutions from Hizballah and Iran’s hegemony; The political organization should have a higher level than the current March 14 goals and be more effective to reach broader Lebanese audience with worldwide coverage and support. The time is now before it is too late.
Also, be mindful that history and experience should guide any future actions to avoid further divide and internal clashes among the parties. Yes it is not simple, but doable if there is a will and determination to SAVE the country.
On another note, the Lebanese lobby in the USA and Europe must be more active to support such actions in defending the country. God Bless
